The Yeafrica wordmark
Yeafrica β from the Amharic α¨ (ye), a possessive marker meaning "of" or "belongs to." Yeafrica = "belongs to Africa." The same syllable appears in Tigrinya as a genitive marker. In Swahili, -ye is a relative marker ("who/which"). In Hausa, it can mean "is/it is." Across African languages, "Ye" carries ownership, identity, and being. It's also a celebration: "Yeah, Africa!" β an affirmation of pride, capability, and future.
The wordmark is clean and bold β Yeafrica with Ye in gold. Gold is the color that signals "Ye" (α¨), the possessive that anchors our identity. No icon, no ornament β the name itself is the mark. Like Alibaba, Jumia, or Amazon, the brand speaks for itself at every size, from favicon to billboard.
