The Story
Ajiri Tea is a B-Corp certified Kenyan tea company founded by siblings Sara and Holley in 2009. Each tea box features a hand-made label crafted by Kenyan artisans, and 100% of profits fund the Ajiri Foundation, which sponsors orphans' education in the Kisii highlands. The tea is grown at 2,100m by the Kisii Tea Farmers Cooperative — 340 smallholder farmers. Ajiri was featured in Oprah Magazine and The New York Times as a model for ethical African business.
