The Story
Beza Mar ('my solution') is Ethiopia's leading honey and beeswax processor, founded by Tadessa Mekuria in 2008. Working with 1,500 beekeepers across the Amhara and Oromia highlands, Beza Mar modernized traditional forest beekeeping with improved hives while maintaining zero-heat processing. The company exports beeswax to European cosmetic manufacturers and was the first Ethiopian honey brand to earn EU organic certification. Beza Mar means 'my solution' in Amharic.
