The Story
BOS Brand is a premium rooibos tea company founded in 2010 by David Donde in Cape Town. Sourcing from Fairtrade-certified farms in the Cederberg Mountains — the only place on Earth where Aspalathus linearis (rooibos) grows naturally — BOS was the first rooibos brand to achieve Carbon Neutral certification. The brand pioneered rooibos cold brew in cans, now sold in 18 countries. BOS partners with the Rooibos Council and the Indigenous San/Khoi communities who hold traditional knowledge rights over rooibos.
