The Story
Founded by Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu in 2004 in her grandmother's village of Zenabwork, SoleRebels is the world's first Fair Trade-certified footwear brand. Handcrafted from recycled car tires, organic Ethiopian cotton, and sabdariffa fiber — materials that were previously burned as waste.
